Training You as a Defender -

Defending Against Propaganda -

The term 'propaganda' originated in pagan Rome. The meaning denotes the spreading of ideas, allegations, information and rumors to further one's cause, as well as to damage, injure and vilify the reputation, person and ideas of opposing forces.

It may be positive or negative in nature, depending on the hidden plan or agenda of those who use it for their own benefit and interest.

As a defender, protector and caretaker of those whom YÁOHU UL has put under your safekeeping and trust, you must be able to identify the propaganda tactics of ha-satan and protect yourself as well as your subordinates against their harmful, injurious and damaging effects.

Also, YÁOHU UL forbids the spreading of false, despiteful and evil reports or messages to others and to those inside your circle of influence especially to your subordinates. Rumor- mongering is a damaging sin.

'Do not spread evil reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a venomous witness.' - Exodus 23:1

When one mentions the term 'propaganda' the ideas that come to mind are those methods and tactics used by Hitler and Stalin, and rightly so. But it is not limited to those nor only to those times in the past.

Propaganda tactics are still very much prevalent nowadays and are commonly used by politicians, salesmen, news reporters, advertisers, commentators, journalists and false teachers and prophets.

Television, radio, movies, newspapers, books and magazines, as well as the internet, are the common vehicles used nowadays by propagandists.

They come in various disguises, such as political speeches, commercials, vilification campaigns, sitcoms, jokes, soap operas, novels, lambada, artworks, slogans, breaking news or TV extravaganzas.

Learning about the tactics used by propagandists is your best safeguard against the deceptions from the enemy, especially in this information age.

Propagandists use persuasive allegations, messages, ideas, opinions, statements, accusations and exaggerations with the main purpose of influencing, and, if possible, manipulating, the MINDS and EMOTIONS of the public or of those at which they are directed.

Propaganda tactics are very effective tools for or against prospective targets and victims who are unaware of their use and spread, much less, of the methods and techniques utilized.

Propagandists love short cuts. They short circuit the MINDS of their target audiences or victims to promote their own ideas, causes, products, cults, false doctrines, candidates, opinions, programs, allegations and other selfish interests.

Bad propagandists aim to push their audiences into jumping to illogical and baseless conclusions, and if they are not wary, they may be easily misled into them.

Many world leaders have been deposed because of propaganda campaigns launched against them. Many families and companies, too, have been ruined because of evil reports, rumors and false accusations - which are common kinds of propagandas.

Common examples of positive propagandas are the campaigns against domestic violence, drunk driving, teenage sex and so on.

Examples of negative propagandas are the campaigns for the legalization of marijuana, homosexual marriages, abortion and the like.

Our Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA came as the Messiah that the whole YÁOHU-dím (Jewish) nation was waiting for at that time, yet when He came, they killed Him like a criminal. Why? Because of bad propaganda used against Him and by which many among the ignorant then were deceived into believing as true.

Why did the Nazis kill millions of YÁOHU-dím (Jews) in during the last world war? Because the Nazis were victims of bad propaganda against the YÁOHU-dím (Jews), misled to believe lies.

The YÁOHU-dím (Jews) then were portrayed in the minds of the Nazis as worthless rats and vermin and so on, and therefore they found it easy and necessary to exterminate them en masse.

Why do you see those lads throwing rocks at the soldiers? Propaganda victims, those lads. Why do they go in throngs to watch those soccer matches? Propaganda victims they are. Why do many idolize their favorite movie and television icons? Propaganda! Why do many pray to lifeless statues, idols, icons and Greek idols? You know the answer.

Millions are now languishing in false religions, cults and other occult activities because they fell for and were deceived by the use of satanic propaganda tricks and tactics. Pity....

'For false Messiahs shall arise, and false prophets, and will do unusual miracles, so that if it were possible, even YÁOHU UL's elect ones would be deceived. See, I have warned you.'

'We are not ignorant of the enemy's tricks,' as what emissary Shaúl (Paul) wrote in 2 Corinthians 2:11, and so are we Yaohúshuahím now, too. That's why we do not allow the enemy to have an advantage over us, in whatever way.

As had been often mentioned in our previous discussions, ha-satán carries out his wicked plans not by direct orders but through deception, that's why one of his titles in the Scriptures is 'the deceiver of mankind' and now we also entitle him the 'notorious propagandist,' if you will.

Do recall too what we have mentioned previously that the battleground of our warfare against the adversary is in the MIND.

Sure, many people commit mistakes in the way they think, but wicked propagandists deliberately use errors, mistakes and adulterations to promote their malevolent causes, false beliefs and ideas, to the injury, loss and damage of their victims.

Many have been maligned, deposed, executed, ruined and suffered terrible damage because of this propaganda tactic of name calling. There were those who went to war and even killed their own fellowmen because they were victimized by this bad kind of propaganda.

The propagandist's aim is to use negative symbols and link it to a person or idea, in the hope that the ignorant masses will reject that person or idea because of the bad connection made, and that they ignore the true merits of that person or idea.

Again, the main trick is to short circuit the minds of the unthinking populace, to subtly influence them to jump to irrational conclusions and thereby, the propagandist is able to manipulate their feelings, emotions and thinking processes.

Propagandists are like ordinary magicians. They use sleight of words, phrases and thoughts tactics in the hope of deceiving their unthinking audiences.

Spin doctors are notorious tacticians in the use of this name-calling propaganda trick. Spin doctors are wizards in the craft (witch-craft) of turning truths into lies and lies into truths! That's why they are called 'spin doctors' - they spin truths into lies, and lies into truths by their sleight use of symbolisms, phrases and catch-words!

(Note: 'wizard' also means a male witch or sorcerer.)

Bad propagandists who use this name-calling trick aim to make the ignorant refuse persons or ideas because of the links made to negative symbols, to replace the available clear evidences to the contrary.

The most common types of this sort of propaganda tactic is the use of 'bad names' such as:

e. Fascist f. Junkie g. Pig h. Bum

Another type of this name-calling tactic is through the use of words or phrases which have negative emotional charges. Those employers who train their employees towards work excellence may be labeled as 'slave drivers' while to the honest observers, the employers may be commended as 'efficient managers.'

The same behavior by the same persons but given different labels by two different kinds of people: those with positive outlook, and those with defiled, negative minds.

A parent who may be following YÁOHU UL's principles of thriftiness in home financial management may be labeled as 'stingy' and a 'scrooge' by name-calling propagandists, but praised as a fine trustee of YÁOHU UL's funds by those with Scriptural views in life.

Again, the same behavior, but looked at different viewpoints by two different sets of minds: those minds operating in the positive mode, and, on the other hand, those operating in the negative mode.

One who is an honest seeker of the truth will find out about the original Shúam (Name) of the Messiah and believe in it, while another will label it as a 'cult' - another common name-calling propaganda trick.

Again, the same truth given, but different reactions, depending on the attitudes of the heart and mind each one has.

The goal of the propagandist is for the ignorant to jump to conclusions and reject the truth, simply because it was given a negative label, or it was connected to a negative word, phrase or symbol, thus effectively short-circuiting the minds of the unthinking ignorant.

In order not to be victimized by this name-calling propaganda tactics, you must always ask yourself these queries:

1. What does the name that the propagandist is using really mean?

2. Does the name he use really has a valid and legitimate connection to the truth, person or idea which he is trying to dismiss, deprive me of or hide from me?

3. What idea or truth that serves my own best welfare and interests is being dismissed and that I am being deprived of merely because the propagandist is using a name, phrase or catch-word that I don't like?

4. Ignoring the names, labels and negative phrases which the propagandist is using, what is the real and true objective merit of the idea, truth or person being maligned?

When you first ask these four queries above before you make any conclusions about any idea or person under evaluation, then you are safe from being victimized by this name-calling propaganda tactic. They cannot short-circuit your minds!

And you will always know the truth that will set you free from all lies, deception and tricks of ha-satan!

If YAOHÚSHUA ha-Bor (the Son) sets you free, you shall be free indeed!

For this purpose ha-Bor (the Son) of YÁOHU UL was manifest, to delete, expunge and obliterate the works of the evil one!

We will now discuss the kind of propaganda tactic which is commonly referred to as 'glittering generalities' - which is included in the category of 'word-play' kind of propaganda.

Majority of the people truly believe, fight for and live by so-called 'virtue words' about which they have deeply set ideas. Examples of these 'virtue words' are motherland, patriotism, freedom, civil liberties, human rights, progress, culture, patrimony, marital fidelity, heroism and the like.

But the problem is, these words may mean different things and connote different matters when used by different people for their own selfish motives. These glittering 'virtue words' may be used in different ways to mean other ideas completely different from the common set meanings and values attached to them by the majority.

These 'virtue words' which are cherished and believed in by many, in themselves are fine, but the problem arises when these words are used by bad propagandists to lure the unsuspecting public to ride along and promote their hidden pursuits and agenda.

When any virtue word is used, for example, human rights or marital fidelity, people quickly think of the ideas and values which they have learned at home, in school or in religious organizations.

They innocently assume that the speaker, politician, salesman or advertiser is using those 'virtue words' in the same sense, meaning and connotation that were learned in the past. By doing so, the listener or hearer unknowingly lowers his defense and threshold of refusal, thus making him an easy victim of this propaganda tactic.

After he has been hooked on by the use of these 'glittering generalities' or 'virtue words' - the bad propagandist can easily make him think, feel and act in specific ways that may even be contrary to the original and true meanings of this 'virtue words' that were used.

This 'glittering generalities' kind of propaganda is the exact opposite of the 'name calling' tactic. While the 'name calling' tactic tries to convince people to reject the truth, a person or an idea, this 'glittering generalities' trick is used by propagandists for people to easily accept what is intrinsically a lie, or bad or evil to be acceptable, palatable and commendable, even without examining the underlying evidences or proofs to the contrary.

A fine example would be this statement: 'As set forth by our founding fathers, that this nation should preserve individual freedoms and liberty, it is our moral duty to our country to fight for legalizing abortion.'

Notice the use of the 'virtue words' in this statement just given, and how the propagandist twisted the true meanings of the 'virtue words' to mean another towards evil ends.

Again, the 'virtue words' by themselves are all right, but the way they were deviously used is what you should be always aware of and guard against.

In other words, be careful when you hear statements or allegations which use 'virtue words' and always be on guard to check whether they are using those words in the same sense and meanings that they really should, and watch out for uncalled for conclusions or evil ends to which they may be used for.

Another example would be this: 'Since it is mentioned in the Holy Bible that our Creator is Love, then we should follow His command to keep on multiplying and copulating to fill the earth. Let love be real to everyone! Have sex with everyone around. You will not be judged because our Creator is Love!'

Notice the use of the 'virtue words' - Holy Bible, Creator and Love, then see how they are wickedly used in completely different meanings and senses that these words originally and truly had in the minds of many among the unsuspecting public - towards wicked and evil purposes and ends.

Another example would be this: 'Be true to the Christian values that our founding fathers have adhered to, and to the Church that the apostles established on earth, never believe that gee-Zeus is not the Messiah.'

Notice again the use of virtue words: founding fathers, church, apostles and christian - at least to the ignorant public these words connote virtues (not to us!), and the religious propagandists use these words to control the minds, feelings and emotions of the unsuspecting majority - to swallow unsupported claims, allegations and directives.

In other words, the bad propagandists who use this type of 'glittering generalities' propaganda aim to control and short circuit the minds of the ignorant to jump into conclusions without the need to examine the evidences to support their claims and allegations.

The 'name-calling' type of propaganda, on the other hand, uses words to malign and denigrate others, without the need for evidences and proofs. In this type of propaganda tactic, the bad propagandist illegitimately, unreasonably and falsely transfers, conveys or dislocates the authority, prestige, might, sanction, force and power of someone or something which is generally revered by the many, to another which he wants his target audience to accept, join, patronize, vote for or buy.

The transfer type of propaganda trick usually involves the use of symbols, uniforms and other props to make the audience accept something which is, in essence, unacceptable when rationally, objectively and thoughtfully evaluated.

A most common occurrence of this so-called 'transfer' type of propaganda is seen on television commercials where the models, who are not even medical clerks, are made to wear doctors' or dentists' uniforms who then recommend non-prescription drugs or medications, toothspastes or other pharmaceutical products.

The trick is to illegitimately transfer the authority of professional medical practitioners to the item or product being sold, through the use of uniforms and other medical symbols, with the goal of making the unthinking viewers quickly presume that the product being offered has the complete backing and full recommendation of the whole medical profession. Another obvious method of short-circuiting the minds of the target audience.

Another common occurrence of this propaganda trick is observable when someone uses the letterheads of his company in writing personal letters, with the intent to impress or intimidate the recipients, though, of course, his own personal letter is not sanctioned by the company he is working for and whose letterhead he is using, and the letter is purely for his own personal use and purposes (not the company's).

The trick is to short-circuit the mind of the unthinking recipient into believing that the personal message sent has the full backing and complete authority of the whole company in which the writer is working for, though frankly, it has not.

In other words, the propagandist illegitimately TRANSFERS the authority, prestige or sanction of a well-known company or personality for his own personal benefit and advantage, in impressing others or intimidating them into accepting whatever his offers or ideas are, for without the TRANSFER technique, the target audience would outrightly refuse.

Many also name-drop to intimidate and frighten the ignorant into immoral submission or surrender, though frankly, the people, whose names these propagandists drop here and there, have never given their consent for their names be used for such unauthorized or purely personal purposes.

Again, the trick is to illegitimately TRANSFER the authority, sanction, prestige and power of the person for the propagandist's own selfish interests and personal advantage.

Another common example of this so-called 'TRANSFER' type of propaganda tactic is often seen in TV commercials when a political candidate is seen being interviewed while he is behind a big desk in a well-furnished office, with a full library of books behind him (with trophies also), obviously being used as props, to trick the unthinking audience into quickly presuming that he has all the knowledge and power behind all those displayed books and trophies.

This is one more obvious tactic to short-circuit the minds of the target audience to jump into baseless, unproven conclusions, in their minds, and to deceitfully elicit the emotional responses of awe, praise, adulation and acclamation (and votes!).

Company stickers, logos, stationery and other paraphernalia which are misappropriated for personal uses (to impress or intimidate) is also among the simpler forms of this type of TRANSFER propaganda trick.

Another is the wearing of original or even fake so-called designer apparel or accessories, which is the deceitful attempt to TRANSFER the 'prestige' of those so-called name brands into one's person, begging for acceptance or praise.

Movie and television icons on boxes or cans of grocery items, or endorsing products on radio, magazines or television, or some other rich and famous celebrity or glitterati recommending perfumes, cosmetics or apparel; basketball and baseball icons promoting sports shoes, and so on, are the most-common obvious forms of this propaganda technique called testimonial.

Basically, they are testifying about a product, idea or person for others to buy, patronize, join or simply agree with.

Essentially they want their target audience to think that, since they are popular, reputable and admired, whatever they say, use or recommend should likewise be followed by their admirers.

The false connection is obvious to anyone with half a wit, though. The attempt is, as always, to short-circuit the minds of the ignorant to jump into the irrational and unreasonable conclusion that what they recommend are needed and should be heeded by their admirers, devotees or fans.

Usually, many are aware of these testimonial tactics and outrightly reject the recommendations and promotional gimmicks made by popular and generally admired personalities, but when the movie or television icon happens to be his favorite idol, then the trick usually works.

Another hidden false connection is the implied idea that if the fan or devotee eats, wears, buys and have the items or products which their idol or icon commercially recommends, then he will somewhat share in the popularity and alleged satisfaction that his icon or idol has.

Usually, however, those movie or television personalities perform their testimonials for a fee. Personally, though, they do not even use nor buy those items themselves, but for a fee, they do their public testimonials to trick their ignorant devotees and fans. They do anything for money.

Some of these movie or television icons and idols even endorse political candidates for their devotees and fans to support and vote for, but the fact of the matter is, these show business celebrities don't have any sound ideas at all on how government should be run, much less recommend competent candidates for official government seats of authority.

Testimonial types of propagandas are often misleading, abused and unfair to the public because they only present their paid side of the matter.

The most blatant use of this testimonial tactic is often broadcast by television during the early hours of the morning recommending slenderizing or exercise gadgets, kitchenwares, electronics and other car-maintenance breakthroughs.

People around you often use this propaganda technique too when they claim: 'My officemate said...' 'The newspaper said...' 'The news reporter said...' 'My school teacher said...' 'My neighbor said...' 'My close friend said...' 'The magazine said...' 'The author said...' and so on - especially when what they testify about is against what YÁOHU UL clearly spoke in His written Word!

Your ready reply should be: 'Yes, they said that, but what does YÁOHU UL say? It is written....' - and you must always insist that it is your own individual conviction that the written Word of YÁOHU UL is the final authority, the final say in you and your family's lives!

These are plainly visible testimonial types of propaganda techniques at work, targeted against the gullible public.

Let these false prophets tell their dreams and let My true representatives faithfully proclaim My every Word. There is a difference between chaff and wheat!

How does one safeguard against this TESTIMONIAL type of propaganda tactic?

Easy. Apply these four-query test by asking yourself:

1. Who or what is the testimonial being used on me to believe and accept?

2. What is the competency of the person giving his opinion or recommendation in regard to the subject matter under evaluation?

3. Why does he or it give a testimonial? Was he paid in doing so, or perhaps for nationwide exposure on radio or television or for some other personal or commercial benefit or advantage?

4. After completely disregarding the testimonials given, what is the objective truth and merit of what is being said or alleged, when examined in the light of YÁOHU UL's written Word?

In short, without those testimonials, is what they are claiming, saying or offering acceptable and true as seen in the light of YÁOHU UL's written Word?

Defending Against Propaganda -

We will now discuss the kind of propaganda tactic which is commonly referred to as 'plain folks' - which is included in the 'special appeals' category of propaganda.

This type of propaganda technique aims to project people and ideas to be 'of the people' 'by the people' and 'for the people.'

Nothing wrong with those slogans, except that in reality, these people or ideas are seldom what they claim or seem to be.

They try their best to project themselves or their ideas to be as common as the plainest of folks one can find around, except that, in reality, these advertised 'plain folks' are multimillionaires and their ideas are not for the people but for the rich and for their own selfish interests and benefits.

In other words, they pretend to be pro-people, pro-poor but they are actually pro-pagandas!

Demagogues (bombastic political inflamers) and politicians are notorious in the use of this type of 'plain folks' propaganda technique.

This type of propaganda commonly abound during election campaign periods, when every candidate claim to be of the people, by the people and for the people.

The truth is, the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer.

What happened? What trick was used on the ignorant masses?

'Plain folks' propaganda tactic usually is the technique.

Politicians are usually marketed as peanut farmers, ordinary farmers, cowboys, or simple folks just like everyone else, but the truth is, they live in mansions surrounded by huge estates and have millions of dollars in Swiss bank accounts. Not all, but most of them though.

This type of 'plain folks' propaganda technique is usually effective in third world countries, where politicians usually identify themselves with the poorest of the poor, wear ordinary clothes, speak like plain folks, yet live in palaces and own huge estates in Europe, aside from their fat wallets, stocks, bonds and secret bank accounts abroad. This is common especially in African countries.

Another common use of this 'plain folks' type of propaganda technique is when celebrities, movie idols and the glitterati crowd are publicized as espousing the causes of the poor, the AIDS victims, endangered animals, mines victims and so on, to enhance their popularity or box-office appeals, yet they themselves live in the grandest lifestyles their fans' money can buy. Do you see the hypocrisy behind those plain-folks type of propagandas?

If they are really so eager to help those causes, they should be the first to sell all their assets and give to those who, they claim, they really care for. But that is not so.

But why are they popular among the ignorant masses? Because their minds have been short-circuited into jumping to conclusions that since those propagandists claim, say, speak and act like the ordinary folks, they must be real serious in helping the poor, the sick, oppressed, orphans and so on. How the people love to be propagandized (or deceived).

Religious propagandists are also notorious in the use of this technique. Especially the Pharisees, the precursors of modern Judaism.

One recent glaring example of this propaganda trick was when the romanist religious head went to a Caribbean island and, while seated on a throne, wearing gold pieces of jewelry, jetted his way into the country, temporarily away from his luxurious palace, was wearing the most-expensive apparel, against all that backdrop, preached to the poor masses that they must avoid materialism and all its evils! And the ignorant audience praised him to high heavens for saying that.

In other words, he talked as though he were poor, though in reality, he was not. He claimed to be pro-poor, but it was only pro-paganda!

The honest way is to live in line with what one prescribes for others. And teach the poor how to overcome their poverty by faith in the Messiah YAOHÚSHUA. And even to spend oneself in behalf of the poor.

The deceitful way is to prescribe poverty for others, while wallowing in luxury! Or to promise to help the poor while really intending to take advantage of them, to increase one's own wealth.

That is the Judas way. Judas murmured against waste of expensive perfume when poured on Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA, giving as an excuse his 'concern' for the poor, but the truth was, he wanted the cash proceeds from the sale of that perfume because he often dipped his fingers on the group's cash fund for his personal use, for he was their treasurer.

'Six days before the 'Khag Posqayáo' (Passover Celebration) began, YAOHÚSHUA arrived in Bethany, the home of Ul-ozór (Eleazar or Lazarus) the man He had raised from the dead. A dinner was prepared in honor of YAOHÚSHUA. Martha served, and Ul-ozór sat with Him at the table.

Then Maoro-ém took a twelve-ounce jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard, and she anointed the feet of YAOHÚSHUA with it and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with fragrance.

But Judas Ish-Kerioth, one of his disciples - the one who would betray him - said, 'That perfume was worth a small fortune. It should have been sold and the money given to the poor.'

Not that he cared for the poor - he was a thief who was in charge of the disciples' funds, and he often took some for his own use.' - YÁOHU-khánam (John) 12:1-6

In other words, those who want to deprive Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA of the honor and support due Him, giving the 'concern for the poor' as their excuse, are operating exactly in the spirit of Judas the betrayer, the thief.

Movie actors and actresses are also notorious in the use of this 'plain-folks' type of propaganda trick, especially in the third world countries.

They portray roles of being oppressed, poor and destitute, in attempts to amass huge box-office fortunes, then go buy their condos and estates in Europe or the United States, and travel around the world every summer. They trick the poor to enrich themselves. Oy (woe!) to them!

Other talk-show hosts and hostesses also pretend that they espouse the cause of the ordinary folks and the poor, and so on, and then go on their annual winter vacations in the French Riviera in their private yachts! Gross hypocrisy, that's rightly called.

The sad part is, the ignorant poor really like it that way. I mean, their movie and television idols impoverishing them, they enjoy that! What depravity. Pity....

But what was the attitude and rule of our Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA in regard to poverty, riches, wealth and charity?

'As He (YAOHÚSHUA) was beginning out on a trip, a man came running up to YAOHÚSHUA, knelt down, and asked, 'Maoro-éh hol-Tav' (Fine Teacher), what should I do to receive eternal life?'

'Why do you call Me 'Tahv' (Fine)?' YAOHÚSHUA asked. 'Only YÁOHU UL is truly 'Tav.' But as for your query, you know the commands: 'Do not murder. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not testify falsely. Do not cheat. Honor your father and mother.''

'Maoro-éh (Teacher),' the man replied, 'I've obeyed all these commands since I was a child.'

YAOHÚSHUA felt genuine love for this man as He looked at him. 'You lack only one thing,' He told him. 'Go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.'

At this, the man's face fell, and he went sadly away because he had many properties.

YAOHÚSHUA looked around and said to His disciples, 'How difficult it is for rich people to get into the Kingdom of YÁOHU UL!'

This amazed them! But YAOHÚSHUA said again, 'Dear children, it is very hard to get into the Kingdom of YÁOHU UL. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of YÁOHU UL!'

The disciples were shocked. 'Then who in the world can be saved?' they asked.

YAOHÚSHUA looked at them intently and said, 'Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with YÁOHU UL. Everything is possible with YÁOHU UL.'

How many palaces does he have? How many limousines does his children have? Are the people suffering in dire poverty in the midst of the huge and numerous palaces, limousines and private jets of their 'plain-folk' political idols and their supporters?

There's nothing wrong with being wealthy and rich, if done the right scriptural way, YÁOHU UL's way. What is wrong is the pretension, the deception and the manipulation of others' thoughts and emotions by using those propaganda tricks, to promote one's selfish interests and in taking advantage of the ordinary folks.

From now on, always practice to quickly identify the 'PLAIN FOLKS' trick once you hear or see some (not all) politicians, celebrities, glitterati, movie and television icons and idols acting out their tricks and immediately ask yourself the four safeguarding queries mentioned above, and quickly discern the obvious deceptive tricks behind those propagandas!

Defending Against Propaganda -

We will now discuss the kind of propaganda tactic which is commonly referred to as 'Bandwagon' - which is included in the 'special appeals' category of propaganda.

The main false arguments of this type of propaganda tactic is: 'Everyone is doing it, and so must you!' and 'If you don't join the crowd, you'll be left behind!'

The basic emotional appeal is for its target victims to 'follow the crowd' - and take advantage of people's herd mentality.

Since the goal of the propagandist, who uses this type of propaganda tactic, is to gather people en masse, the appeal is usually made to groups of people who are already tied together in some sort of common bonds.

The special appeal, for example, is directed to all laborers, all women, to the wives, the youth, the homosexuals, the feminists, those belonging to a specific political party, or religion, race, nationality, profession or occupation.

Then rallies are organized, halls are rented, television and radio commercials are run, leaflets given out, parades are organized, balloons, colors, music, lights, cameras, with drum and bugle corps, rock bands, and all the glitter and glamour of huge extravaganzas, then masses of people are hauled in - all to create the bandwagon effect in the minds and emotions of the ignorant public.

Bombastic speeches are dished out, complete with flatteries, incitements, capitalizing on the prejudices and biases of each group, and fully utilizing their fears and hatreds, convictions and ideals - all with the deliberate intent to manipulate their thinking and control their emotions - towards a particular goal.

Just like what happened in the Ephesus (Acts 19) when the propagandist made a special appeal to all the craftsmen and devotees of the Greek goddess Diana. And notice the speech he made which played on the basic interests and common inclinations of the crowds - pushing and pulling their minds and emotions toward his selfish ends.

Some of those in the crowd didn't even know why they were there. They went where everybody seemed to be going too. They felt secure among the many, and concluded that since many were participating in it, it must be right and true.

That is precisely the goal of the propagandist, to short circuit the minds of the unthinking masses into wrongfully concluding that if many are doing it, it must be correct.

The goal of the propagandist who uses this 'BANDWAGON' type of propaganda is to incite, inflame and excite the collective minds and emotions of the many, and once their minds and emotions are collectively enraged or agitated, it is easy for the propagandist to control, twist as well as turn them collectively towards whatever ends he wants.

Our Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA was tried, convicted and executed on the basis of this 'BANDWAGON' type of propaganda that were perpetrated by the religious propagandists of His time.

'Early in the morning, the chief priests, elders and teachers of religion - the whole Sanhedrin - met to discuss their next steps.

Their judgment was to send YAOHÚSHUA under armed guard to Pilate, the Roman governor.

Pilate asked Him, 'Are You the King of the YAOHÚ-dim?'

'Yes,' YAOHÚSHUA replied, 'it is as you say.'

Then the chief priests accused Him of many crimes, and Pilate asked Him, 'Why don't You say something? What about all these charges against You?'

But YAOHÚSHUA said no more, much to Pilate's amazement.

Now, it was Pilate's custom to release one YAOHÚ-di prisoner each year at 'Posqayáo' (Passover) time - anyone the people selected.

One of the prisoners at that time was Barnabbas, convicted along with others for murder during an insurrection.

Now a mob began to crowd in toward Pilate, asking him to release a prisoner as usual.

'How about giving you the so-called 'King of the YAOHÚ-dim'?' Pilate asked. 'Is He the One you want released?' (For he realized by now that this was a frame-up, backed by the chief priests because they envied the popularity of YAOHÚSHUA.)

But at this point the chief priests whipped up the mob to demand the release of Barabbas, and not YAOHÚSHUA.

'But if I release Barabbas,' Pilate asked them, 'what shall I do with this Man you call your King?'

They yelled back, 'Impale Him!'

'But why?' Pilate demanded. 'What wrong has He committed?'

They only roared the louder, 'Impale Him!'

Then Pilate, afraid of a riot and eager to please the people, released Barabbas to them.

And he ordered YAOHÚSHUA flogged with a leaded whip, and handed Him over to be impaled.' - Mark 15:1-15

In the long history of mankind, many government leaders have fallen through the use of this 'BANDWAGON' propaganda tactic, and now euphemistically called 'peer pressure' or 'people power' or 'mob rule' by others.

Why did many people perish when the Titanic sank? Bandwagon! Why do many line up to watch the movie? Bandwagon! Aside from it bearing the name of the serpent: sitanic. No wonder his children are whipped up to go, watch and praise it (him - the hidden one)!

Why do many worship the Greek idol 'gee-ZEUS'? Bandwagon! The Queen of Hearts? Bandwagon! The skull idol 'God'? Bandwagon!

Why did the people loot all those shops? Bandwagon! Why are many hooked on drugs? Bandwagon!

Why will most people be hurled into the lake of fire on Judgment Day? Bandwagon!

Those who always go with the majority will find themselves with the majority in the lake of fire!

Defending Against Propaganda -

As a defender, protector and caretaker of those whom YÁOHU UL has put under your safekeeping and trust, you must be able to identify the propaganda tactics of ha-satan and protect yourself as well as your subordinates against their harmful, injurious and damaging effects.

Also, YÁOHU UL forbids the spreading of false, despiteful and evil reports or messages to others and to those inside your circle of influence especially to your subordinates. Spreading bad propaganda is a sin.

'Do not spread evil reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a venomous witness.' - Exodus 23:1

Propagandists use persuasive allegations, messages, symbols, opinions, statements, accusations and exaggerations with the main purpose of influencing, and, if possible, manipulating, the collective MINDS and EMOTIONS of the public or of those at which they are directed.

Propaganda tactics are very effective tools for or against prospective targets and victims who are unaware of their use and spread, much less, of the methods and techniques utilized.

Bad propagandists love short cuts. They short circuit the MINDS of their target audiences or victims to promote their own ideas, causes, products, cults, false doctrines, candidates, opinions, programs, allegations and other selfish interests.

Their wicked technique is to suggest, recommend and use symbols and other devices to lead their victims into making short-circuited, unreasonable conclusions, while at the same time giving the impression that they (the target victims), by themselves, made the 'right' conclusions.

In other words, propagandas thrive in the minds and emotions of those who are lazy to think rationally and scripturally (for one may be logical yet unscriptural!), and these are the ignorant masses who let others do the thinking for themselves - which is another ill-effect of laziness.

If they would only really do the thinking for themselves and make their conclusions in line with the unadulterated written Words of YÁOHU UL, then propagandas will hardly thrive in this world.

Yes, it is also a fact that most people sometimes allow others to do the thinking for themselves, especially in regard to matters requiring professional or technical knowledge, but bad propagandists deliberately use this human weakness towards their wicked ends.

Bad propagandists aim to push their audiences into jumping to illogical and unscriptural conclusions, and if the target audiences are not wary, they may easily be misled into believing lies and deceptions from the enemy.

We will now discuss the kind of propaganda tactic which is commonly referred to as 'fear appeal' - which is included in the category of 'special appeals' kind of propaganda.

Television commercials often depict terrible calamities and personal injuries then ends with recommendations for people to buy home or personal insurance, car and accident insurance and other kinds of insurance.

Another may portray people dying from bacteriological warfare and then ends with recommendations that the viewers should buy gas masks, antibiotics and plastic sheets to seal their homes.

A political candidate may exaggerate the threats of insurgency, communism, wars and other real or imagined menaces, to play on the fears of their audiences, and then endorses himself to be voted into office to subdue those threats.

These are common examples of the 'fear appeal' type of propaganda tactic.

The propagandist graphically portrays fear arousing events, then recommends the 'fear reducing' behavior.

The propagandist first arouses the emotions of the viewers, then attempts to manipulate their minds to jump into often silly, unreasonable, unconnected, illegitimate, unscriptural and baseless conclusions, and that is where the catch is, i.e., where the short circuit occurs inside the brains of the ignorant viewers.

We have mentioned before that the more excited and aroused the emotions of the target audience are, the easier it is to manipulate their minds. Notorious propagandists know this fully well. And we are not ignorant of the enemy's tricks and devices.

The main devious technique of this 'fear appeal' type of propaganda is to prevent the target victims from objectively evaluating the true merits of the proposal, and make them quickly jump into accepting the recommended fear-reducing behavior, whether it be buying insurance, seatbelts, gas masks, voting for a political candidate and so on.

The right approach for anyone with half a wit, being exposed to this type of propaganda tactic, is for him to first objectively evaluate the proposal and weigh its merits and demerits, then make the logical and scriptural conclusions which are safely grounded on such unbiased, unemotional and scriptural examination of the recommended behavior or proposal, and not jump into the recommended behavior just to reduce the fear appeal that was made.

For example, after being shown houses being blown to bits by a tornado (fear appeal), the propagandist will then recommend that the viewer must, as a safety precaution, quickly buy home insurance plan (fear reducing behavior).

Or, after being shown car collisions with passengers killed (fear appeal), the propagandist recommends that car insurance (fear reduction) be quickly bought from their insurance agency.

Or, scenes of criminals victimizing ladies or the elderly along the city roads (fear appeal), the propagandist will then recommend that the viewer must buy guns and other weapons for their own safety (fear reduction), and vote in favor of legalizing the carrying of lethal weapons in all places.

Or, a political ad will exaggerate in their portrayals of crimes, violence, corruption and immorality in society (fear appeal), then recommends that their candidate be voted into office in the coming elections (fear reduction).

Accepting that events and occurrences they portray really do happen in real life (not in exaggerated ways though), are their recommended behaviors really the logical and scriptural remedies to minimize, if not completely avoid, those unpleasant events?

Or are their recommendations illegitimately connected to the portrayed occurrences, after being objectively examined, rationally weighed for its merits and demerits, and scripturally scrutinized?

In other words, are their recommendations really the best scriptural and logical remedies in eliminating the threats or not?

If not, then they are merely capitalizing on fear appeal and are carrying out their propaganda tactics on their victims.

It is not dissimilar to blackmail or the kidnap for ransom tactic by a band of criminals! Blackmailers and kidnappers also utilize fear to squeeze money from their victims. At least they don't use pretenses while doing so.

Will carrying guns really protect anyone against criminals? Will voting for him really eliminate all the evils in society? Will carrying lethal weapons really protect from thieves? Will buying life and home insurance plans really secure me and my family's future?

Religious propagandists are also notorious in the use of this propaganda tactic on their ignorant victims, as they are in all the other types of propaganda devices.

They introduce the statuettes, medallions, dolls, images and paintings of their idols to the ignorant masses, as creators, messiahs and saviors (false ones really!) having supernatural, miraculous and curative powers, then proceed to intimidate their victims with those propaganda gadgets, with the unveiled threats that whoever blasphemes or defames those gadgets will be cursed and go to hell.

Or they introduce the Greek idol 'gee-ZEUS' as the messiah, savior and redeemer (false one really!) to the people with threats that if they believe otherwise, they will go to hell, aside from being expelled from their churches and religious (satanic really!) activities, ceremonies and cemeteries.

These are antiquated devices of religious propagandists.

Will taking the Greek idol 'gee-Zeus' for one's savior really keep him from suffering eternally in hell? Will calling upon the skull idol 'God' really save and bless anyone? Scripturally never!

The true reverential fear of YÁOHU UL is wholly a different matter though, for it is safely grounded on YÁOHU UL's written Word and it basically denotes the hatred of sin in all forms.

And the recommended behavior in YÁOHU UL's written Word really eliminates the menace and threats of ordinary human fear.

4. Completely disregarding emotions and threats, is his proposal really in line with YÁOHU UL's written Word, and will Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA absolutely approve my following the recommended behavior?

If you subject this propaganda technique to this four-query test, you will always be safe from being deceived into jumping to baseless conclusions; propagandists can never short circuit your own minds nor can they manipulate your feelings and emotions.

And you will always know the truth that will set you free from all lies, deception and tricks of ha-satan!

Defending Against Propaganda -

As a defender, protector and caretaker of those whom YÁOHU UL has put under your safekeeping and trust, you must be able to identify the propaganda tactics of ha-satan and protect yourself as well as your subordinates against their harmful, injurious and damaging effects.

Also, YÁOHU UL forbids the spreading of false, despiteful and evil reports or messages to others and to those inside your circle of influence especially to your subordinates. Spreading bad propagandas, lies and deceptions is a sin.

Propagandists use persuasive allegations, messages, symbols, opinions, statements, accusations and exaggerations with the main purpose of influencing, and, if possible, manipulating, the collective MINDS and EMOTIONS of the public or of those at which they are directed.

Propaganda tactics are very effective tools for or against prospective targets and victims who are unaware of their use and spread, much less, of the methods and techniques utilized.

Bad propagandists love short cuts. They short circuit the MINDS of their target audiences or victims to promote their own ideas, causes, products, cults, false doctrines, candidates, opinions, programs, allegations and other selfish interests.

Their wicked technique is to suggest, recommend and use symbols and other devices to lead their victims into making short-circuited, unreasonable conclusions, while at the same time giving the impression that they (the target victims), by themselves, made the 'right' conclusions.

In other words, propagandas thrive in the minds and emotions of those who are lazy to think rationally and scripturally (for one may be logical yet unscriptural!), and these are the ignorant masses who let others do the thinking for themselves - which is another ill-effect of laziness.

If they would only really do the thinking for themselves and make their conclusions in line with the unadulterated written Words of YÁOHU UL, then propagandas will hardly thrive in this world.

Yes, it is also a fact that most people sometimes allow others to do the thinking for themselves, especially in regard to matters requiring professional or technical knowledge, but bad propagandists deliberately use this human weakness towards their wicked ends.

Logic is the mental process by which we draw conclusions from one or more premises. A premise is a statement of fact.

A simple example of how our minds draw conclusions from one or more premises is:

A believer in the Messiah YAOHÚSHUA is called a Yaohúshuahée.

I am a believer in the Messiah YAOHÚSHUA.

Conclusion:
Therefore, I am a Yaohúshuahée.

In order to be sure that our minds are logically and rationally reasoning things out correctly and properly, each logical sequence in the actual mental process of reasoning should be correct and true.

Inmates in mental asylums are called insane because their minds no longer have the ability to reason out correctly, with clarity as well as realistically.

And there are many who are outside mental asylums who, to some degree, suffer from some mental dysfunctions because their minds do not process facts correctly and logically.

In other words, rational minds should process 1 + 1 = 2 and not otherwise. Minds that process 1 + 1 to equal 5 are defective minds, like calculators that give out wrong answers, which have to be discarded for being useless. No one would buy defective computers or calculators.

No one should also believe bad logic - that is, reasonings which are defective and wrong.

A simple example of bad logic is:

One cent is better than nothing.

Nothing is better than the Almighty.

Conclusion:
One cent is better than the Almighty.

Notice that the two premises are correct statements of facts. Yet the conclusion drawn is wrong, because of bad logic or wrong reasoning process.

Bad propagandists use this 'BAD LOGIC' types of propaganda tactic to trick their target audiences into making wrong and illogical conclusions.

True, some people make logical mistakes at times, but these wicked propagandists deliberately use bad logic to manipulate the minds and emotions of their target victims into jumping to irrational, illogical, unreasonable, unscriptural and wrong conclusions.

You must always keep in mind that though the premises may be correct statements of facts, you are always required to carefully check whether the conclusions that are drawn from them are really sensible, correct, scriptural and true - to ensure that your mind is still functioning correctly and in line with YÁOHU UL's written Word, thereby protecting yourself from this 'BAD LOGIC' kind of propaganda tricks.

The importance of always checking your reasoning process cannot be overemphasized, especially among your subordinates, during this information age. This type of 'BAD LOGIC' propagandas abound in magazines, books, the Internet, radio and television news and infomercials, in schools and universities, and even in so-called religious programs, sermons and seminars.

Another common example of a 'BAD LOGIC' religious propaganda is this:

Premise #1:
There is only one Eternal Creator.

Premise #2:
The heavenly Father is the Eternal Creator.

Conclusion:
The Messiah, being the Son, can never be the Creator too.

If one is not careful, he may easily be misled into accepting as reasonable and true the above wrong and unscriptural conclusion.

The Ten Commandments were given for people to obey so they will go to heaven when they die.

Premise #2:
The Messiah YAOHÚSHUA came not to disregard the Law but to fulfill it.

Conclusion:
Obeying the Ten Commandments is the right way to heaven.

In the above logical process (illogical really), you could easily see that premise number 1 is wrong and unscriptural, and obviously, the conclusion drawn is wrong and unscriptural too.

That's why it's important that you should always check and examine the premises that are given, to verify whether each of them is scripturally true, correct and factual.

Also check if the common words that are used in the logical process are used in the same sense and meaning. If the same words are used in different senses and contexts, then the conclusions that are drawn would be wrong, incorrect and insane.

Example:

Premise #1:
There is only ONE Almighty Eternal Creator.

Premise #2:
Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA said that 'My Father and I are ONE.'

Conclusion:
Therefore Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA is also the Father in heaven.

Notice here that the common word 'ONE' is used by the religious propagandist in different senses and meanings in the two premises that are given, that's why the conclusion drawn is incorrect, unscriptural and insane too.

Another vulgar 'BAD LOGIC' kind of religious propaganda is:

Premise #1:
The Messiah is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Premise #2:
The real Name of the Messiah is 'gee-ZEUS' Christ.

Conclusion:
'gee-ZEUS' Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Here you can clearly see that premise number 2 is a defective, incorrect and an insane premise. Therefore the conclusion is obviously a product of insanity!

But, surprisingly, there are people who do honestly and heartily believe this false conclusion. Why? Because their minds were short-circuited by the enemy into jumping to unscriptural conclusions. They were sincerely wrong. Pathetic fallacy....

When the mind converts falsehoods into 'truths' through defective logical methods, the erroneous process is called a 'fallacy' - an invalid inference or wrong reasoning.

Most false doctrines that are commonly peddled as scriptural 'truths' (lies really!) are based upon different scripture passages which are taken singly and out of context, then bundled together as premises and from which invalid and unscriptural conclusions are drawn - to the eternal perdition of those who are deceived by them.

Defending Against Propaganda -

'It is pleasant to heed wise words, but a fool's speech brings him to ruin. Since he begins with a stupid premise, his conclusion is sheer madness.' - Ecclesiastes 10:12-13

We will now discuss the kind of propaganda tactic which is commonly referred to as 'UNWARRANTED PROJECTIONS' - which is included in the category of 'LOGICAL FALLACIES.'

To remind you, the word 'fallacy' means wrong logic, invalid reasoning process, and a deceptive premise and conclusion.

The 'UNWARRANTED PROJECTIONS' type of propaganda tactics involves the making of huge predictions about the future on the basis of a few small currently observable facts.

The trick is to push one's case to the limit, thereby forcing his opponent into a weaker predicament because the whole future is lined up against him.

Pushed back against the wall, the opponent finds it hard to disprove or counter something which has not happened yet.

A fine example would be a driver who found three banks in each corner of the highway he was passing by, and made the conclusion that the highway was full of banks on every corner all the way up to the North Pole.

He connected two or three points, then joined them together then expanded it without end.

This 'UNWARRANTED PROJECTIONS' type of propaganda tactic may be used to either push people into fear and panic, or towards celestial ecstasies, depending on what the proposals or goals of the propagandist are.

Examples of this 'UNWARRANTED PROJECTIONS' type of propaganda tactics are:

1. If our government approves this trade pact with Mexico, millions of our fellow Americans will be deprived of their jobs and this will lead to the collapse of this whole nation.

2. If we allow those refugees to remain and work here, we will see an influx of millions of them pouring into this country, until they are many and powerful enough to revolt and take control of our own government.

3. If those foreigners are not expelled, they will eventually own all the wealth in this country and reduce the population to dire poverty, while they hoard their money in Swiss banks, and we all go hungry and become poor.

4. If those American companies are not nationalized, they will continue to plunder our mines, oil and coal reserves, timber and other resources, while the people are kept poor until all our national wealth is gone, and we all become paupers in our own land.

5. If we continue encouraging the counterculture of today's youth, they will chart our paths to new unexplored areas of interest, stimulate our affinity with nature, discover paranormal worlds and usher in the new age of peace and harmony.

6. If we believe in the power of these crystals, we will be in harmony with the universe and be at peace with one another until the new age of liberation finally dawns on all peoples of this world.

7. If you keep on giving your land to them, you will be welcomed in all the countries in this world and the New Middle East will finally become a reality, and foreign investments will pour in billions, until all the countries in the region achieve economic and social upliftments.

Notice that the appeals may be grounded on fear or utopia, but the same tactic is used in all of the above examples.

A few small facts here and there, join them together and go on ad infinitum, towards unwarranted projections which are hard to disprove because they have not happened yet!

But surprisingly, many among the ignorant are misled by this type of propaganda tricks.

Even our Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA suffered as a result of this propaganda tactic used against Him. Ponder well the following:

'Then the entire council took YAOHÚSHUA over to Pilate, the Roman governor.

They began at once to allege their case: 'This Man has been leading our people to ruin by telling them not to pay their taxes to the Roman government and by claiming He is the Messiah, a King.'

So Pilate asked Him, 'Are You the King of the YAOHÚ-dim (Jews)?'

YAOHÚSHUA replied, 'Yes, it is as you say.'

Pilate turned to the leading priests and to the crowd and said, 'I find nothing wrong with this Man!'

Then they became desperate. 'But He is causing riots everywhere He goes, all over YAOHÚ-dah (Judea), from Galilee to Yaohúshua-oléym (Jerusalem)!'

'Oh, is He a Galilean?' Pilate asked.

When they answered that He was, Pilate sent Him to Herod Antipas, because Galilee was under Herod's jurisdiction, and Herod happened to be in Yaohúshua-oléym (Jerusalem) at the time.

Herod was delighted at the opportunity to see YAOHÚSHUA, because he had heard about Him and had been hoping for a long time to see Him perform a miracle.

He asked YAOHÚSHUA query after query, but YAOHÚSHUA refused to answer.

Meanwhile, the leading priests and the teachers of religious law were there yelling out their accusations.

Now Herod and his soldiers began mocking and ridiculing YAOHÚSHUA. Then they put a royal robe on Him and sent Him back to Pilate. Herod and Pilate, who had been enemies before, became friends that day.

Then Pilate called together the leading priests and other religious leaders, along with the people, and he announced his verdict.

'You brought this Man to me, accusing Him of leading a revolt. I have examined Him thoroughly on this point in your presence and find Him innocent. Herod came to the same conclusion and sent Him back to us. Nothing this Man has committed calls for the death penalty. So I will have Him flogged, but then I will release Him.'

Then a mighty roar rose from the crowd, and with one voice they shouted, 'Kill him, and release Barabbas to us!'

(Barabbas was in prison for murder and for taking part in an insurrection in Yaohúshua-oléym against the government.)

Pilate argued with them, because he wanted to release YAOHÚSHUA.

But they shouted, 'Impale Him! Impale Him!'

For the third time he demanded, 'Why? What crime has He committed? I have found no reason to sentence Him to death. I will therefore flog Him and let Him go.'

But the crowd yelled louder and louder for the death of YAOHÚSHUA and their voices prevailed.

So Pilate sentenced YAOHÚSHUA to die as they demanded.' - Luke 23:1-24

Many among the Yáoshorulítes (Israelítes) in the wilderness with Mehushúa (Moses) also were deceived into rebellion by the use of this 'UNWARRANTED PROJECTIONS' propaganda trick. Carefully read on, please....

'One day Korah son of Izhar, a descendant of Kohath son of Levi, conspired with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, son of Peleth, from the tribe of Reuben.

They incited a rebellion against Mehushúa (Moses), involving 250 other prominent leaders, all members of the assembly.

They went to Mehushúa and Aharón and said, 'You have gone too far! Everyone in Yaoshorúl (Israel) has been set apart by YÁOHU UL, and He is with all of us. What right do you have to act as though you are greater than anyone else among all these people of YÁOHU UL?'

When Mehushúa heard what they were saying, he threw himself down with his face to the ground.

Then he said to Korah and his followers, 'Tomorrow morning YÁOHU UL will show us who belongs to Him and who is holy. YÁOHU UL will allow those who are selected to enter His holy presence.

You, Korah, and all your followers must do this: Take incense burners, and burn incense in them tomorrow before YÁOHU UL. Then we will see whom YÁOHU UL prefers as His holy one. You Levites are the ones who have gone too far!'

Then Mehushúa spoke again to Korah: 'Now listen, you Levites! Does it seem a small thing to you that YÁOHU UL of Yaoshorúl (Israel) has selected you from among all the people of Yaoshorúl (Israel) to be near Him as you serve in YÁOHU UL's Tabernacle and to rise up before the people to serve them?

He has given this special service only to you and your fellow Levites, but now you are demanding the priesthood as well!

The one you are really revolting against is YÁOHU UL! And who is Aharón that you are complaining about him?'

Then Mehushúa summoned Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, but they replied, 'We refuse to come! Isn't it enough that you brought us out of Egypt, a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us here in this wilderness, and that you now treat us like your subjects?

What's more, you haven't brought us into the land flowing with milk and honey or given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Are you trying to fool us? We will not come!'

Then Mehushúa became very angry and said to YÁOHU UL, 'Do not accept their offerings! I have not taken so much as a donkey from them, and I have never hurt a single one of them.'

And Mehushúa said to Korah, 'Come here tomorrow and present yourself before YÁOHU UL with all your followers. Aharón will also be here.

Be sure that each of your 250 followers brings an incense burner with incense on it, so you can present them before YÁOHU UL. Aharón will also bring his incense burner.'

So these men came with their incense burners, placed burning coals and incense on them, and arose at the entrance of the Tabernacle with Mehushúa and Aharón.

Meanwhile, Korah had heated up the entire community against Mehushúa and Aharón, and they all assembled at the Tabernacle entrance.

Then the glorious presence of YÁOHU UL appeared to the whole community, and YÁOHU UL said to Mehushúa and Aharón, 'Get away from these people so that I may quickly annihilate them!'

But Mehushúa and Aharón fell down face on the ground. 'O YÁOHU UL and Source of all life,' they pleaded. 'Must You be angry with all the people when only one man sins?'

And YÁOHU UL said to Mehushúa, 'Then tell all the people to get away from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.'

So Mehushúa arose and rushed over to the tents of Dathan and Abiram, followed closely by the Yaoshorulíte leaders.

'Quick!' he told the people. 'Get away from the tents of these wicked men, and don't touch anything that belongs to them. If you do, you will be ruined for THEIR sins.'

So all the people pulled back from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Then Dathan and Abiram came out and arose at the entrances of their tents with their wives and children and little ones.

And Mehushúa said, 'By this you will know that YÁOHU UL has sent me to do all these things that I have done - for I have not done them on my own.

If these men die a natural death, then YÁOHU UL has not sent me. But if YÁOHU UL performs a miracle and the ground opens up and swallows them and all their belongings, and they go down alive into the grave, then you will know that these men have despised YÁOHU UL.'

He had hardly finished speaking the words when the ground quickly split open beneath them.

The earth opened up and swallowed the men, along with their households and the followers who were arisen with them, and everything they owned.

So they went down alive into the grave, along with their belongings. The earth closed over them, and they all vanished.

All of the people of Yaoshorúl (Israel) fled as they heard their screams, fearing that the earth would swallow them, too.

Then fire blazed forth from YÁOHU UL and burned up the 250 men who were offering incense.

And YÁOHU UL said to Mehushúa, 'Tell Ulozor son of Aharón the priest to pull all the incense burners from the fire, for they are holy. Also tell him to scatter the burning incense from the burners of these men who have sinned at the cost of their lives.

He must then hammer the metal of the incense burners into a sheet as a covering for the altar, for these burners have become holy because they were used in YÁOHU UL's presence. The altar covering will then serve as a warning to the people of Yaoshorúl (Israel).'

So Ulozor the priest collected the 250 bronze incense burners that had been used by the men who died in the fire, and they were hammered out into a sheet of metal to cover the altar.

This would warn the Yaoshorúlites that no unauthorized man - no one who was not an offspring of Aharón - should ever enter YÁOHU UL's presence to burn incense. If anyone did, the same thing would happen to him as happened to Korah and his followers. Thus, YÁOHU UL's commands to Mehushúa were all carried out.

But the very next morning the whole community began muttering again against Mehushúa and Aharón, saying, 'You two have killed YÁOHU UL's people!'

As the people gathered to protest to Mehushúa and Aharón, they turned toward the Tabernacle and saw that the cloud had covered it, and the glorious presence of YÁOHU UL appeared.

Mehushúa and Aharón came and arose at the entrance of the Tabernacle, and YÁOHU UL said to Mehushúa, 'Get away from these people so that I can quickly annihilate them!'

But Mehushúa and Aharón fell down face on the ground.

And Mehushúa said to Aharón, 'Quick, take an incense burner and place burning coals on it from the altar. Lay incense on it and carry it quickly among the people to make atonement for them. YÁOHU UL's anger is blazing among them - the plague has already begun.'

Aharón did as Mehushúa told him and ran out among the people. The plague indeed had already begun, but Aharón burned the incense and made atonement for them.

He arose between the living and the dead until the plague was stopped.

But 14,700 people died in that plague, in addition to those who had died in the incident involving Korah.

Then because the plague had stopped, Aharón returned to Mehushúa at the entrance of the Tabernacle.

Then YÁOHU UL said to Mehushúa, 'Take twelve wooden staffs, one from each of Yaoshorúl's tribes, and inscribe each tribal leader's name on his staff.

Inscribe Aharón's name on the staff of the tribe of Levi, for there must be one staff for the leader of each tribe.

Put these staffs in the Tabernacle in front of the Ark of the Covenant, where I meet with you.

Buds will sprout on the staff belonging to the man I select. Then I will finally put an end to this murmuring and complaining against you.'

So Mehushúa gave the commands to the people of Yaoshorúl (Israel), and each of the twelve tribal leaders, including Aharón, brought Mehushúa a staff.

Mehushúa put the staffs in YÁOHU UL's presence in the Tabernacle of the Covenant.

When he went into the Tabernacle of the Covenant the next day, he found that Aharón's staff, for the tribe of Levi, had sprouted, blossomed, and produced almonds!

When Mehushúa brought all the staffs out from YÁOHU UL's presence, he showed them to the people. Each man claimed his own staff.

And YÁOHU UL said to Mehushúa: 'Place Aharón's staff permanently before the Ark of the Covenant as a warning to rebels. This should put an end to their complaints against Me and prevent any further deaths.'

So Mehushúa did as YÁOHU UL commanded him.

Then the people of Yaoshorúl said to Mehushúa, 'We are as as dead people already! We are ruined! Everyone who even comes close to the Tabernacle of YÁOHU UL dies. We are all doomed!' - Numbers 16:1-17:13

Now see here the 'UNWARRANTED PROJECTIONS' that went on in the mind of 'Hillél' (Lucifer) and what really happened when he rebelled against YÁOHU UL Gavóha (the Most High):

'How you are fallen from heaven, O Hillél (Lucifer), son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground - mighty though you were against the nations of the world.

For you said to yourself, 'I will ascend to heaven and rule the angels. I will take the highest seat, I will preside upon the Mount of Assembly far away in the north. I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.'

On the contrary, you will be brought down to the lowest depths. Everyone there will glare at you and ask, 'Can this be the one who shook the earth and the kingdoms of the world? Can this be the one who obliterated the world and made it into a shambles and demolished its greatest cities and had no mercy on his captives?'

The leaders of the nations lie in their imperial glory in their graves, but your body is thrown out like a broken branch; it lies in an open grave, covered with the dead bodies of those slain in battle. It lies like a carcass in the road, trampled and mangled by horses' hoofs.' - Yaoshúa-YÁOHU (Isaiah) 14:12-19

So now you see, nothing is new. All that are has happened ages ago. Everything that the enemy does is just a repetition of his antiquated tricks, but using different models and agents.

How does one avoid the traps of this 'UNWARRANTED PROJECTIONS' type of propaganda trick?

Easy. Apply this four-query test on each proposal or idea which attempt to make illegitimate projections or predictions about the future, which are grounded on few or exceptional facts:

1. Are the current few or exceptional observable facts really support the future predictions that are being projected?

2. Can I think of other ways that events will occur if normal conditions and the natural course of events continue?

3. If there are many different ways that events may occur, why is the propagandist painting such unwarranted and illegitimate predictions in my mind?

4. Completely disregarding his predictions and projections into the future, is the idea or behavior that is being recommended by the propagandist correct, true, morally and scripturally right and reasonable?

By applying this four-query test, you will not be deceived into believing lies and deceptions of the adversary by means of unwarranted projections and predictions, and his propagandists cannot short-circuit your minds and emotions towards his selfish, ruinous ends.

That is why you need the 'RÚKHA hol-HODSHÚA' to teach, guide and lead you into all truth because if one believes that he is able to know the truth and be saved by his own mental and scholarly abilities, then ha-satan, the source of all lies and deceptions, has already won in that person's pathetic, tragic (yet scholarly religious!) life.

YAOHÚSHUA hol-MEHUSHKHÁY is your only hope in this world!

And you will always know the truth that will set you free from all lies, deception and tricks of ha-satan!

If YAOHÚSHUA 'ha-Bor' (the Son) sets you free, you shall be free indeed!

False. Increased markets and natural resources available for the common benefit of all member countries are some advantages which the propagandist does not objectively tell his audience. False. The propagandist is painting an excessive scene so the opponent will lose its resolve in combat. This does not imply, though, that using bombs is justified. False. Utopia is being promised while life here on earth for most people is so miserable. 8. If you join us in this scheme, we could divert the funds of the shareholders into our own pockets and spend the rest of our lives with all the luxuries that money can buy! Imagine the glitz and glamor of being rich! They're yours for the taking now!

False. The truth that the propagandist (whether a person or an evil spirit) is not saying is the fact that ill-taken wealth ruins the lives and families of their takers. How many are languishing in jails now who bought this lie?

9. We will be our own bosses! No one can rule it over us! We are all created equal, so c'mon join me in asserting our own rights. We are no fools! Away with those leaders! We will do as we please and have peace and quiet at last, with no one bothering us.

False. Those who fall for this propaganda trick from the enemy will be subjected to hard and cruel authorities and rulers put in place by YÁOHU UL. And if they further rebel against these iron-fist authorities, they will be killed.

10. No one will ever know. You and I were born to love and be loved. Let our spouses file for divorce, they have everything to lose. We will enjoy heaven on earth, at last.

11. No, most probably she is not an AIDS or HIV carrier. How can a person like that with such kind smiles and glances be a carrier? We will spend the night till early dawn enjoying the pleasures of love. Ah, the joys and pleasures of love....

False. All regrets come in the end, never in the beginning. Most AIDS victims will confess that had they known that their sexual partners in the past were carriers of sexually-transmitted diseases, they would have avoided them.
